If you were moving up from a D-17, you might think gas engine and snap-coupler on a 75 HP One-Ninety. If you were thinking more acres, you'd buy a One-Ninety XT diesel with a 3-point hitch.

I have a gas snap coupler 190. I have $2000 into it. I paid $1000 drove it home and put some very used tires on it. Fixed the lights and ammeter. I've seen several on Craig's list between $3500 and $6000. 34" tires are imposable to find used in good condition and the tractors not worth the cost of new ones. If Ihad a use for it it would be worth more but it's a lot of over kill for the 6' mower and towing an empty hay rack around the yard. There mot very fast top speed is about the same as my WD 45.

Myself i'd rather have a 185 than a gas 190 with snap coupler any day of the week. Diesel engine and 3 point are just two reasons. In our area, the price of admission wouldn't be a whole lot different either.
Other than camparible horsepower the two tractors don't really have a whole lot in common though. |

Depends what you are doing with it. If you plan to use it a lot, I would not bother with a thirsty gas. It is a bit of an oddball, but don't buy it thinking it will appreciate in value because it probably won't. |

I have a OneNiney gas 3 pt and have $1500 before I installed a Narrow Front. Just a toy that I pulled a few empty gravity bins to the field with. 185 diesel would be a better working tractor.
