does anybody know what could be wrong with our reel speed on an R62. It is normal then it slows. Acts like when in down beans it pulls harder. The motor has been changed, the valve under cab has been rebuilt, I bypassed the torque limiter, that didn't help. Some say its electrical problem. The module has been changed. Everything except the potentiometer.   HELP!

I don't know about a R62 but when my L3 acted squrrely I found out that the mice and rats had chewed off about 18" of insulation inside of the header where you could not see it.

Ours does the same thing. Would also like to know how to cure this problem. I can tell you that it's not the potentiometers.

This happened to ours last fall. The reel would almost stop and then speed way up. Replaced motor, replaced the coupler on the head, the switch in the cab, etc. After all that and a day with the dealer out it turned out to be the seat interlock module. The mechanic brought one with him because they had had symptoms like this before. Put it in and the reel has been fine since. The module is not cheap, 600 bucks if I remember right. He did not know what goes wrong inside to make this happen but just knew it happened to a few others that he knew of.
