hey all first post but not really to new lol. restoring a 653. have reverse no forward. pulled filter ya it was full of sludge lol, changed fluid, good flow off the pump, no leaks, pressure going to shuttle is zero in forward and 150 at idle and higher rpm's when warm (below spec) swapped the valve just because  and got the exact same results.swapped lines around also for giggles lol. So shuttle clutch is bad no big deal.  Just looking for new parts? Agco still have this stuff still available? This seems to be the hard part haha.  I dont seem to find any aftermarket stuff out there. Any hellp is greatly appreciated Thanks Shaun

o wow the hd4 is really similar so i hear. This is my first attempt at a restore on a allis chalmers bulldozer looked like i picked a real winner but its fun to me and seems like a simple unit. I pulled the engine the other day in about 2 hours not a bad job at all. have the shuttle out and waiting on a parts manual since the internet has all but failed me lol. Im not to far from sandy lake equipment. i see they do some advertising  here and also im not far from stephenson equipment  they have pages and pages of part numbers and parts on stock, i guess i just need the parts manual. owell glad to be hear and there is a wealth of knowledge from what i see

653/655 and the H4 share all the same parts well except drive clutch operation as one was pedal steer other had steer to clutch packs . Support roller tower on track changed from inside to outside position on track frame also but uses same roller
