I am restoring a 1938 Model B . How do you get an exhaust pipe out of the manifold. The tractor has been setting for about 15 years and has not been run. Pipe is rusted in the manifold. I want to save the manifold as it is the orginal style with data plate on it. Any suggestion?

if the muffler is good, you need to soak the joint to the manifold wiht penetrating oil, then tap around with a hammer on the joint. wiggle the muffler a little side to side untill the rust gives up. dont bend the manifold with too much wiggle, it will crack.
If the muffler is no good, cut it off flush, then take a hack saw or cold chisle on the inside ring that is left and cut it out of the manifold.
you know there might be a bolt in the side of the manifold that screws into the muffler tube right?

Like them all, but love the "B"s.
