While I'm on a roll with my questions on the 720, I've noticed that my hour meter is not functioning. Is there an easy fix, or do I need to replace the meter? some wiring? connections? Dave

most likely the meter is no good. I've come across many that do not work, mine included.

you can buy hobbs meters off ebay and amazon. easiest way to install is pull the steering wheel, unbolt the dash and left to gain access.

Herb, I had to take the dash loose, remove steering wheel, lifted it up so I could work under it without completely disconnecting everything (throttle cable, choke cable, etc.) and removed the old one. Slipped the new one in, put the bolts provided in, connected the wires and was done. I admit, it was kind of a pain. Hope that adequately explains what I did. Let me know if you need more info.
