Hello All,
Looking to make new tailing doors but what I got as a pattern are all mangled up. No time time to wrench off a new donor from the parts machines. Anyone have one that is not screwed up? Tom

I'm not very familiar with combines. Are the "tailing doors" you talking about the flip up door where the straw comes out of the machine?
If so, I have a very good one from 60. |

No, its the clean out door on the very bottom of the tailings return elevator. Right next to the tank side tire.

I just went out and looked. it looks like the PO (who bought the combine new) fabricated a new door out of galvanized roof steel. Sorry!
I am going to send the old combine for scrap. Is there anything anybody needs for parts. It had an engine (which is what I bought it for) and the cutterbar guards are gone. Everything else is there and in pretty fair shape.

Slip clutch/sprocket on the seperator drive shaft is precious, as are most housings for the bearings...but lot of work to take that all off and probably not worth your time.
Any screens?

Tom, you might check with him. I looked at my combine, and I didn’t realize the door was homemade. It looks original, but the piece of steel they cut it out from is so long that it runs about a quarter of the way up the elevator. I didn’t realize this, and the screws that hold it to the wood are machine screws, and there’s no way I can get a flat head up inside the elevator without taking it all apart.
