Model A Allis with pizza cutter tires

   My model A Allis has the original narrow rims.  What have some of you done to modify rims so you can use some wider tires?  I am thinking about 18.4X28 tires.  Were you able to use wider and taller tires without removing the belt pulley assembly?  Thanks.
