Off color but I though somebody might give me an idea. I have an OC46 parts tractor and a guy is looking for hardware to make his usable again. The tracks are stiff from setting out in the weather but rails look good and there is a barely noticeable wear spot on the bottom of the bushings.
The sprockets look good and have almost a 3/8 inch flat instead of a sharp point on the OD.
I was looking for a working tractor and thought about buying his but it sounds like it needs too much work to suit me. Now he wants my spare parts to make his usable.
I have no idea what to ask for these parts. There use to be sprockets on ebay all the time but I never paid any attention to what they would sell for.

Call Zimmerman Oliver Cletrac and ask them what they sell used ones for.

Bought used sprockets for my FD5  $300 for pair with track off same machine , Paid $1200 for the track with pads .. Also bought 5 rollers at $75 each and he gave me the upper idelers .
Big thing is is there other parts around ? On the HD4 i had I could not find track so ended up having pins and bushings put in my old rails as there was enough height left in them to wear OK for at least one turn on them.

Yeah, about half of what Zimmerman wants should be a fair price. lol

If I'm not mistaken, HG, OC3,OC4 use the same sprockets....pretty common, although finding some with little wear may be another story. Around 10yrs ago, I paid $100 for this sprocket, from the local salvage yard. Got it for our HG. I'd say it might be worth 150 today ? 2 yrs ago, paid 800 for some TD6 (another common model) chains, around 80%, no pads from the same salvage yard. At the time, new TD6 chains were still available (same as TD7 except pad hole dia)  for 2500/pr.

As mentioned though, wouldn't hurt to check with Zimmers and let the potential buyer know also.
