Have an aquaintence who has a Fiat-Allis F7D crawler with a dozer blade on it that he's either going to scrap or sell. We started working on it last fall and it starts and runs good. The transmission seems good, the hydralics work (needs some new hoses etc), the blade can be angled up or down but not side to side. The under carraige is excellent, no wear to speak of on the drive sprockets and the pads show very little wear.  Both steering clutches were stuck, but we were able to free up the right side just by running it back and forth.  The left side was still stuck (rusted?) when we had to stop working on it last fall and now that the weather is starting to break it's back on the agenda again.  Machine had sat for about four years before we started on it last year. Owner has no idea what it might be worth and we want to be fair with him so any help in this area would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance, Ron

Look on Rock and dirt site or some of the other on-line or auction sites for heavy equipment. Just type in the name and number in search engine should bring up some ideas.
All depends on the year also. See FD5 with 6 way blades for 12 to 18 T
