When I bought the loader the 262 engine was junk so I bought a 262 gleaner engine and installed it. The starter from the loader was much bigger than the gleaner starter. Does anyone know if the D-17 or D-19 diesel starter might be the same as the loader starter? The loader starter had a 1" spacer and used 3  5/8 bolts to secure it.

I have had good luck with G & R re-builders in St Paul MN. Located on Prior Ave just off University Ave. in midway area.
With the listing i put up should give you the starter number, and I believe price to compare to .

Hey guys  I found a starter, it's being UPSed to me. I also found a carb. I had a local craigslist wanted ad. When I went to pick it up I asked the guy some allis questions and he didnt know anything. I kinda got the feeling I bought my own carb back.:(   Wanted to say thanks to everyone who posted comments and where to find ideas. :) bye the way im looking for a TL-12. Would be nice if it was mostly complete and a runner.
