Most are pipe threaded into a boss built into the tank. Not certain on a Case, maybe do a parts lookup on the case site as to that section of fuel system.

Decided had to look!!

Appears the sediment section is a component part of the tank, NON removeable.

I have the manuals. They don't show much as attaching. Does show 2 different tanks, at serial number change. I cleaned it off best I could. It appears to be soldered or welded to tank. The real question is, will tank come off with pulling engine or removing valve cover and rocker assy?  I want to get the crap out of tank.Surely someone knows a good Case mechanic. Any previous know of this greatly appreciated. Thanks Tracy
