Hello there. I'm new to the group and was wondering if someone could help me. I've recently bought an HD-5 crawler with a 2 cylinder diesel. it sat for 20 years and i had to rebuild the starter to get her running. needless to say, i start it up and it will run very briefly then die. when it does that I'm getting diesel running out of a little fitting above the starter on the engine block. When it starts and you put your finger over it, it seems to be pushing. Any help would be very appreciated! The bank is about to reposes this property and if i can't get it out in the next few days i'm going to lose it. Thank you in advance.

Above the starter are 2 filters , one oil and other fuel . line from fuel filter goes to filter under muffler which then feeds into fuel pump then into head - this feeds injector supply , from injector a line returns fuel to head then to fitting on there which runs a line to T, dash gauge and return to tank are fed from this .
