Naw, Shameless,,it is up in the higher elevations around Ruidoso,,,there are actually 3 different fires burning in the area, It is very bad and they lost an elderly couple early in the week cause they could not evacuate in time. Forest fires in that area tend to become catastrophic as most of the canyons tend to run west/ east and with the prevailing winds out of the west ,,,,,just bad Juju,,,,,, I think most of them snakes must be halfway to china by now,,,they been diggin so furiously,,,,,

can't see the smoke,, but can smell it here,,, an I'm couple hundred miles away...well there are a couple more fires to the west of me,,maybe thats what I'm smellin'... smoke makes for some neat lookin sunsets/rises tho...

That is the truth Michael. They are affecting ours this far away. That is, when we can see them. Lately the suns is behind nothing but overcast. Really gloomy lately. I thought that Easter would bring some sunshine, but nope, still gloomy. I'm sick of this stuff. I want SPRING to come and the accompanying rains. We need rain really bad here.
