Hey guys,
I'm sure you get this a lot "whats it worth?". Well i'm looking at an AC-720 really clean, strait body, good running onan, 60" deck, and 3point hitch. Dose have hydro lines in front, (don't know if that's standard.) I'm new to the AC's and, i want something more than my JD110. I think there the best looking gt around, and i like that they're made in Wisconsin. The asking price is $3000. It seams a bit high to me, but i don't know a lot about them, accept there built very tough. Another thing how available are the snow-blowers for this tractor.
Thanks guys, Diesel.

Look up smith sales in wisconsin and search current auctions for allis.  They have one listed and I think the undercarriage is all there.

Are you in Stevens Point?

To the best of my knowledge yes --  I'd start a new thread and ask that question

It says the tractor end of the PTO is missing.  I disagree with that -- looks like the snowblower end is missing

Looking at the pictures on Smiths sales, the blower looks complete. Has the drive for mounting and the end of the PTO shaft on the drive is the tractor side of the shaft. Sort of zoomed in and can somewhat see the shaft under the shield on the 90 degree gearbox for the blower side.

Couple of pics with mine mounted on the 620.

Paid 2800 for mine with mower, front blade and mold board plow - and had to go to Tennessee for it!  Cost me 600.00 in gas for my truck for the one day down and next day back trip.  Approx. 1500 hrs and quite good shape. Have generating problems with it now, but still wouldn't sell it.  And yes, Onan parts are very expensive.  Bought some already to try and fix my generating problem, but hasn't helped. Seems like it thinks it is much  bigger than a 20 horse tractor with the hydro. Seems quite a few have the front hydraulics, but I don't know for sure. Just looks like a big tough tractor, even sitting still.  Yes, there are problems, but we need to remember, these tractors are around 40 years old.

They are one tough Tractor that's for sure! And yes, the Onan parts are expensive. I've found that if you keep at it lookin around on e-bay, Craigs list etc. an attachment will surface for sale. The trick is, if its something your looking for, nab it! I think the reason for that is they're such good tough Tractors, the people who own em' don't give em' up so easy unless they have two of em! 616-720 are pretty much the same Tractors as far as the chassis goes. There's a thread on here about the differences with the 616 vs the 620/720. Carburation I think and the HP.

3g sounds about right for a really good unit.  I paid quite a bit more for mine since it came with a blower, wheel weights, tire chains and mower deck.  Sorry to say, I am not willing to part with any of it!  Keep searching and you might come across one sooner or later.

It is ready to go and close by.  In todays market, anything below $3000 is in question (what is wrong with it?).  Hand him $2,800.00 and see what happens.

Paid 2500 for mine about 7 years ago, came with belly mower and blower. Good shape. I would not let my blower go for anything less than $500, if I was in the market to sell. And not likely to sell anytime soon. Once set up with a good Kevlar drive belt, these tractors will really move snow, Trev.
