Went on a little road trip to Iowa this weekend to meet some people for our Oliver expo for rollag in two years.gotta say didn't see much orange but the ones we did see were very impressive.went to Charles City and got a behind the scenes tour and some of the extremely rare Oliver Hart parr stuff they have.then headed down to Waterloo not a big Deere guy but dang that was a heck of a museum the froelich is a cool tractor wouldn't want to run it all day though. Ended the weekend in Clarion seeing the world's largest tractor big bud again . They're getting new tires for it finally but have to have new rims cast cause the old ones are a one off size and the plant that did em in 1977 burned down and lost the mold. As we were there Larry maasdam the owner of all the tractors in the museum stopped by and invited us over to his private shop. Wow never seen so many rare old stuff in one guys yard I could have brought everything home with me . I do like Iowa it was alot of fun if you like tractors i Suggest the Bermuda triangle of tractors well we'll worth the trip .
