Gas Prices

1.55---1.85

Just paid $1.35 at a local Meijer store/station( regular) but 5 miles away the prices were $1.65 ??

Here in the tourist trap gas is usually higher but a local station dropped to $1.39 everyone else followed so they dropped to $1.29. My gas light came on yesterday. I try to never let it get that low. I filled up for $25.00. That’s about half of a normal fill up and much closer to empty than I normally let it get.

In Taylor TX, prices range from $1.589 to $1.859 for 87 octane E10. At the Murphy (Walmart), they also have 87 octane E0 (100% gasoline) for $2.069. I will need to bring out the calculator to figure if the pure gasoline is worth it.

Paid 157.9 for non ethanol unleaded at my local station Saturday. That was the lowest I have ever seen it since I've lived here. It was even 10 to 20 cents less than ethanol  in other local stations.

Haven't tried it Chask. I did have 4-5 gallon left from last Nov. that was still good in March. If I knew it would hold up for a year, Iv'e got two 55 gal. drums that would be full right now.

Not really. Reformulated gas starts breaking down day of delivery, is not a stable compound and in essence tries to reestablish equilibrium. Around 6-9 weeks dependent of the formula and looses octane at a drastic rate, becomes "sour" as my grandfather called it in Under two months. Used to be on pleasure boats we would fill up prior to winter so less chance of moisture, now they will even pump the tanks extremely low prior to storage months and treat Just that little bit of gas, they then haul five to ten gallons on dewinterize here to get boats started again.

Just went by Sam's club , Annapolis, $1.759, there.  Of course, that was after I bought it local, at $1.899!

Seems to be hanging in the $1.67 to $1.75 range here. Been there for a week or so I guess

$0.99 in El Reno, OK yesterday. 

I paid $1.28 at a Meijer station N/W South Bend

A co worker just paid $1.14 at the Costco in Mishawaka In.

Russia and OPEC are trying to squeeze the small guys out and then ram 5 dollar a gallon gas down our throats around November

$1.789 in Carlinville, IL.  $1.699 in Litchfield, IL.  Litchfield is on I-55. 

There is a GLUT of oil in the world today..  Saudi and Russia both cranking out capacity.. Then the USA has fracking out west.. TOO MUCH Oil on the market... Then the VIRUS hits and it gets even worse.. Saudi wanted to cut 25% production with Russia to maintain some stable price.... Russia said no, so Saudi dropped to price to drive the market into the hole..... Now Russia is back at the table talking again...... It will not come back in July.. This will go on for at least a year.
