Costco just dropped to $1.79, all others clinging to $2.19 still.

It was $1.76 at the three competing stations I earlier posted about in Mishawaka yesterday :-)
The Costco was $1.67 6 miles away

Today at Walmart in Marion it was 1.59 and 2.09 in Dubuque and 1.86 in Manchester this is all in Iowa

One things for certain....retail prices did not drop nearly as much as crude oil prices. Relative who works in the industry said that recent drop was historically unprecedented.

Sadly, IMO, when the "other shoe" drops, the price is going to go up a WHOLE LOT faster than it came down :-( !! I foresee $4/gallon before XMAS :-(

I believe this is market manipulation on the part of the Saudis and Russians to put some of the smaller players out of business. I agree higher prices are around the corner.

Gas currently about $1.879 here in Newton Ia.
