I just posted my "cabbage cutter" vegetable cultivator on Craigslist.  See http://minneapolis.craigslist.org/ank/grd/2917056526.html

I just saw that also. Would be kind of neat to have hanging on one of the G's but not $650 neat.

Is there a magic price point that will cause hoards of people to rush to buy something unique? If so, what is it?

Did Allis or Planet Jr. make that cultivator?

That style of cultivator works well in our gravelly soil. I see a lot of old blades similar to that around here and they are planet jr...I think a lot of the attachments for veggie seeding and cultivation were supplied by planet jr.

It's not more than about $200 neat to me since I have no use for it other than to hang on the tractor.

contrary-farmer,  I don't know who made this unit.  i've seen two of them both in central Wisconsin.  I cannot find any inforamtion on them in the Allis implement literature.  If I'm correct,  AC made the frames on the G 60" double toolbar and the G independent gang cultivator but bought the shanks, shoes and ground engaging pieces from Planet jr.  It is possible that this cabbage cutter ground engaging pieces (the beet knives) were originally Planet jr  but this particular unit looks to have replacement knives so I don't know who made them.
