I know it has been on hear before but the search finds nothing. Does any one know seal numbers for the front wheels on a G?

Thanks, Jeff

Jeff,

The seals I've seen mounted on the front wheels are National Seal 6359.  I recently acquired a couple of NOS Allis-Chalmers seals and these were National Seal 200935-XB.  The replacements were a different design.  I'll upload picture of them soon.

Best regards,

Scott

From National Oil Seals Specifications Manual - June 1967

National Seal 6359:

Shaft Size: 1-3/16 inches
Outside Diameter: 2.187 inches
Seal Width: 7/16 inch

I don't know about the other at this time.

Here’s 3 pictures of the two seals side by side.  As you can see, the used item [National Seal 6359] is beat up.

I've got a couple 'replacements' in the garage 'somewhere'...they're thinner but work well...will check tomorrow after I get my back 'realigned' from doing something 'silly'....
