The plug in the bottom of my G's air cleaner tube is shattered.  The parts book just calls it a "plug."  Is this a standard plumbing fitting? Is it supposed to drain flooded gas and water out of the tube but not let unfiltered air into the carb?  How is it supposed to work?

Thanks

Dick

I have 2 G's, and 1 has the plug (std pipe plug), and the other 1 has a petcock. I think it is threaded in 1/4" pipe thread. Bob
