Well it seems inflation has caught up to Diesel in last 2 weeks .
From $3.27 , when it jumped to $3.74 for off road, I was ticked when I bought 32 gallons for $120 , going by same station yesterday I see it's $4.99 but gas was $3.99
So cheapest Diesel I seen out yesterday was $4.74.

Then talking to someone who works for a oil blending company thy passed on that the chemicals used in their process on base stock is supplied by China and were informed it would be 2 months or unsure how long to get products on order .
This is for both synthetic and regular oils they sell - so might be a good time to look into any sales if you need lube oils, ATF, or other products .
I just bought 3 -5gal pails of Universal Tractor Fluid (IH - Hi-Tran) and hyd oil for $39 a pail
Life lesson: If you’re being chased by a lion, you’re on a horse, to the left of you is a giraffe and on the right is a unicorn, what do you do? You stop drinking and get off the carousel.

All this past fall, and winter, my employer has been ‘shopping around’ for bulk lubes. Haven’t gotten 2 loads in a row from the same supplier. Haven’t had any problems with any of the ‘generic’ lubricants.
I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.
