Had one side go flat and I noticed it has a lot of dry rot on the inside face. These are 7.50 x 16. To use the same rim can I go to a larger tire or will it rub due to the limited offset of my rims?
Common sizes seem to be 7.5x16, then 10x16. Plan to stick with a tri-rib design. Carlisle tires seem to look nice.
Plan to replace both sides

I see Cropmax 7.5 are 8" wide and 10's are almost 11" wide.
don't think I have 1.5" of clearance. Have to measure to be sure.

My 185 has 9.50L X 15 if you can find a set of those rims they should work on the 190 too if you want wider tires.

Looks like I need 4" backspacing to use a 9.5/10 tire
The 7.5 has 4.75" backspacing

Charlie I looked into this a while back. As Gary said a 185 wheel, also a 200 and 7000 wheel will work. I was looking for a set off of a 7000, haven’t found any locally. Found some in Pa but that’s a ways to go and they didn’t want to ship them.

I believe the wider rims will have an offset center. This should allow you to go with them.

I have 10.00-16 on WL8-16 wheels with 5/8 offset on both my 190 and 200. With the 1 1/8 offset you have to reverse the wheels.
The 7.50-16 uses a 5.5 or 6 in wide wheel.

A word of advice from an old tire dealer. Stick with the 750x16's on your XT. The Carlisle tires I sold in the past had a thin casing. Don't know if they have improved them. If you buy them, put them on and don't get into the corn/bean stubble till next spring. They do need time to harden up. If you need to take it to the field right away, look at Firestone's. They seemed to pickup far less stubble damage than most other brands. If you do switch tire sizes, make sure you get rims from a tractor, not implement rims. Tractor rims have a heavier center plate.

Thanks for the help. Not stubble for me, just hay fields and bushhogging lots.
