Removal Radiator Guard

Good morning , Does any one know how much the "Radiator Guard " (with the two cylindars that are used to lift and lower the blade on my HD11B attached ) weighs if all removed in one piece  ? Blade  disconected , of course . I am concidering doing so to make it possible to remove the radiator it-self for repair of damage caused by penetrations through the round holes in the front bof several tree limbs I didn't see coming .

Andrew_D     ,  Good morning Sir .  Am I correct in assuming that what you suggest is as follows -----   remove the side and top air baffels which are bolted to the radiator , disconnect the hydrolic lines , remove the three "cap screws and high nuts" that tie the radiator guard to the front fenders , remove the hood , ---  loosen the nuts ( but don't completely remove them ) on the mounting trunnion , remove the two ( front and rear ) closure plates on each side , remove the front bumper and pivot the large radiator guard forward  ?  I think thats a great idea .  Have you done it before ? Even with the blade still on it should rotate far enough forward to get the radiator out ---  if I understood what you suggest ?   Please get back to me on this idea as I am starting on it today .

That's exactly how you do it.  On units with the front mounted hydraulic tank, you don't even need to disconnect the hydraulics lines, and could even use the tractor hydraulics to lower and raise the hard nose.
