I bet my old roller lifter setup and roller rockers in the WC is so old one would have to carbon date it in order to find out. I bet it's from the pre-panknochio era, built when he was crawling and not yet a knuckle dragger.

You must have missed the part about wi haveing a set in the wc. You should try building an engine on your own pank. Buying them doesn't give much for bragging rights. I rember Hudsonator telling you to use different rods or your engine would blow. Guess he was right and you were wrong. Take some advice from guys like Dr, Hudsonator and Wi. You heard about what Wi helped pull off in Gordyville. You should see the other 5 star clean house in NATPA. All good parts and ideas from T.I.T.S.

I remember the same picture being posted a few years apart. I guess the short attention spanned individuals loose details of such as background details instead of the intended focal point in picture.

Are you retarded in real life also? They are different lifters and Marty made a set. Don't you rember seing the details and crying about it cause you didn't think of it and couldn't do it.
Fitting, a link that doesn't work about a shop that doesn't exist. Let us know when you get your econo-mod goobered togather. Edited by Rod B - 13 Jan 2013 at 7:37pm |

Yeah, in 08 or 09 I think I talked to you two or three times. You were a ok guy on the phone, but then there was a topic on YT about a guy running roller lifters and some other stuff, and you told the guy he was full of it, JUST like you did to Marty, without even giving him a chance to explain himself. Im assuming it was because it was something that was either over your head, or you never thought of..either way, I thought what he was referring to sounded pretty interesting. You lost it right there with me...
So I decided that you would do your thing and I would do mine. Then I met Marty. He called me on some MW pistons I had for sale.Got to tossing around ideas, saw first hand some of the work he did, saw his tractor run, and seen his machine work. Then I watched you constantly disagree with stuff that he already did YEARS BEFORE! Reminded me of the guy on YT..... Yes, I build my own motors. Marty did the head, and walked me through the manifold. Not to sound conceded, but its about the strongest running WC per cubic inch Ive ever been around. He has taught me a TON about airflow that has helped me tweak an AC or two and quite a few MMs up here, including my latest project, a 6" stroke MM Z sidevalve. As far as Baker goes, his shop is 145 miles away. He is a great guy who has ALWAYS taken time out for me to lend a helping hand, even though he does not think much of the orange ones. However, I learn something new every time Im there, because Im willing to compromise my pride over the advice of a true professional . I will dig deep this weekend and find build pics of this motor Im running now. If its not on my digital cam, its on my old phone, and Im not sure where that is. But Ill look for it. Its a long winter, and I figure you could use a little porn.. |

Unstylish,
I'd like to see your build pics. But, if you post them - please start another topic - don't waste the tech in this thread.
The more I hang around here, the more I want to re-build my W-powered WC v.3. But, I need to refresh my farming W's first, repowered on home-brewed ethanol. So, I'm really cruising the tech over here to see what's out there for some enhanced, durable ethanol rebuilds first - then maybe a very warmed version afterward for my ultra-tired ol' WC.
|
|
There isn't much a WC can't do.
WD's just do it better. |

Hahahaha they guy who can't keep his story straight about machine shops , stroking cranks, or anything else is upset that no one will send him a head worth several hundred bucks just so he can dispute anything he can. He can't show us any records of anything he did but wants to see everyone elses proof. So who is Hayden ? Hayden Gibson ? Probably another guy like kendak who just don't know you.

148 cfm isn't to bad unstylish. Pank's was only 143 at .400.
Half of what T.I.T.S. can get. No wonder pank can't figure out how to make power on his own. |

I popped a head gasket with the old head the second run out when I built it. Still got a podium finish at NATPA that weekend. I messed up the head gasket when I made it.
Since I needed to change the head gasket anyway, I had a new head built more suited to my motor. The old head and manifold is actually quite nice especially for a mph tractor. Yes, a large inch motor would be fun. But, for what I pull, I just dont need it. |

And we thought you might do something to show us you weren't a keyboard commando. There's others with a 7" stroke, ask Jeff @ Murphys. Why can't you do it pank?

Unstylish if that induction system woke up a small cubic inch motor just imagine what it would have done if you had stayed at 360 cubes or even went bigger.

The old head was 148. Not a bad number for what it was. It made decent power on my old 360 inch motor. Everything was done well, just not as well as the new one. I got the new one and manifold from TITS. DYNO PROVEN POWER.

I build allis and have built allis for the forum. When are you and wi going to campaign one for the forum. Its a allis pulling forum not a ih moline or case forum. A fellow on here is destroking a 426 to run that 370 ci class on here. So he should be taking space on here that a case and moline uses up but he dont much.

When are you going to build an Allis for the Allis forum? Admitting defeat by useing a Chevy. At least all the parts are boughten rather than built yourself. If you bolt it togather it might run.
Those poor flow numbers must have came from panks cranks to. Good thing TITS fixed it up so the motor could make some power. |

We get better than 148 cfm out of the head. You remember asking about that number on yt. If someone wants me to build one if yours has no purosity showing rings through and passes a die penetrant test. Then i would use it in someones build. As for me we are going bbc.

All kidding aside Pank, you should just buy my crank. Im moving up to a LLSS, and I just dont need it. Ill make u a deal on it. More money does not equal a better product. Any fool can blow up a bulletproof motor, but you wont get a better or a cheaper one to experiment on. Its still next to my dresser, like you noted earlier. Ypu need not agree nor disagree with me. There it is, on the table.
When it comes to tractor pulling, the smartest move I made was calling T.I.T.S TRACTOR INDUCTION TECHNOLOGY SERVICE in Wisconsin. Since they did the head and manifold for my little WC, its been an animal. He can do the same for you. From liners to rods, heads to carbs, anyone familiar with T.I.T.S, loves them. |

I'm a lot like Kendak. To nice of a guy to badmouth someones work so I lied to Wi and told him I bought the crank out of Mi. It came from pank's cranks. One of your outhouse employes sure messed it up. I won't have to worry about it breaking. That head and cam you sold me won't make enough hp to hurt anything.
Morral of the story is to stay away from pank's cranks. |

Oh well you got a nasty looking crank job. But it should be fine for a couple of years it will take that long for wi to get it built for you.
