I was wondering if it is a good idea to take out my cage sweep on my n7 gleaner, also I seen under neeth the excelerator roals there r fingers across what would that be for

We took the belt off our cage sweep the day we got it, and after some hundred billion bushells later it still is in that possition.  We don't run any wheat, or similar crop which is what it is really designed for.  As for the fingers, I can't say off the top of may head.

Guys around here take the cage sweep out for peas, put the cage back in for wheat, canola, flax, hope this helps, Trev.

we run the sweep in wheat and other small grains, and dont run it for corn.
