Anyone know what range the oil pressure (in lbs) should be for a 8550?

No I don't, but I do know that it is a GREAT IDEA to run the 8550 or 4W305 with the valve covers off in the shop so you can see 1st hand how much oil is coming out of the rocker arms. This run off oil is the only oil the push rods, adjusting screws, and cam lobs will see. We learned the hard way that oil pressure DOES NOT mean oil volume.
