Does anyone know if you how to remove the power steering booster to replace the o-ring on the back side of it? 1966 d-17 IV. |

I don't know what you mean by the "booster", but most everything on a 17 is serviceable so I would guess yes.

Drain the coolant, Drain power steering fluid,Remove the front sheetmetal and radiator, , support the tractor, and disconnect the lines necessary to remove the front bolster to clear the front motor mount. Once the bolster is clear you can pull the ram and do your repairs.

You will have to remove the plate on left side with 4 allen head bolts to get rack out then will have to be timed back . MACK
