On my 38UC, finished putting on some curved tins that are spotwelded under the hood. These also are to meet along the radiator side stands. I salvaged them from a WC hood. I filled in all of the WC bolt holes and the hood strap holes. I had to enlarge the air cleaner hole as it was not centered over the air tube. Lastly, I made the offset rib in them to lap over the front of the fuel tank.
My problem is now that the hood looks smooth and bolts down tight, the side tins are still about 1/4" behind the radiator stands. I can't bring it ahead any or the under hood fuel tank will radiator top. I am wondering if on your tractors, do the curved tins come forward enough to meet the radiator, or is there a slight gap between them?
