Whatever you decide is the last one built it is rusting away in a field near Beckville Texas. Makes me want to cry every time I think about it. The SN is the same as what is printed in Terry Deans AC Tractor Data Book. D21#4609

ALMOST SEEMS LIKE THERE ARE MORE D-21'S NOW THAN WHEN IN PRODUCTION.
SO MANY PULLERS AND SHOW QUEENS AND EVERYONE SEEMS TO KNOW WHERE ONE IS IN A SHED SOMEPLACE. ONES THAT I KNOW OF FOR SALE ARE BIG BUCKS THOUGH.

Ya everybody knows of one and if there for sale they want lots of $$$$!!
I do wish I could find one cheap.
Another question, why do they sell for so much money?

I saw a nice Series II D21 today on a trailer in the Wal-Mart parking lot in Marshfield, WI. The truck had Wisconsin plates. The tractor seemed completely restored, but had a weight rack on the back apparently to do some tractor pulling. Anyone here belong to that tractor?

Page 165-bottom right-in Norms book. The numbers do not add up, but those are the totals he has listed there!

Adding Norm's production number's (D21=1128, D21II=2329) I get 3,457.
Serial Numbers add up to 1129 D21 and 2409 Series II = 3,538 which would be correct in my addition ?

You think it cost's alot to buy one that is restorable, try restoring one and the purchase price of the tractor won't seem bad at all. Not trying to be smart about it, but this hobby can get real expensive real fast.

When it comes to the best looking tractor A-C ever built, I always thought its a toss up between the little old "B' and it's great big kid brother, the D-21! JMHO

And they aren't going to get any cheaper! I was thinking 3528 units made? but numbers add up to 3536? Have to ask Dad. Just set of new tires for it will set you back a bunch.
