The winter around here was brutal on trees and tree branches. Went over to the farm to help my mom pick up branches etc and she had nice large limb laying out in the field. Didn't feel like cutting it up and handling it twice so I went into the shed to get the WC out and pull the limb out to the brush pile. I had parked the WC last fall, put some stabilizer in the tank and let it run for a while, shut it off and shut the gas off. Went in on Sunday, cleaned the sediment bowl out, turned the gas on, put the choke on and she fired to life on the 4th crank. Was kind of disappointed though, last year it was the 3rd crank LOL....
![]() She's not the prettiest tractor around and has a few leaks but for being 74 years old, she still is a lot of fun to drive and play/work with.

For some in the morning, the wifes the crank and best be outta the house when she wakes up...
The old unstyled WC's were pretty durable old units, as long as the exhaust got covered up.
Wish some of my old WC's were that ready to run.

Yknow, if 'my '37 was done and ready-to-go, I could probably drive around back of my grain-bin and take this EXACT same picture... from the hill behind my bin, the only difference, is that grove of trees... scary similar!

The Allis Chalmers WC was one of the units that made Allis Chalmers. It's dependability, economy, and low price put Allis Chalmers to the forefront of the Farm Equipment industry.
Does it suprise me that it started so easily - NO! The WC is that good and is ready to work today.
Thanks for sharing
Good Luck!
