I want to buy some NOS sway chains for the 50,60, 70 and 80 series Snap Coupler plows. If any of you guys that have them would sell them, I need several.I could use the right hand adjustable link on 60 and 70 series plow also. Thanks, Tracy

Tracy, I made new chains for my 73. Found a fairly close match at the farm supply store. Can post pics if you like. Might have that adjustable link, will look today.

Mike, I got mine freed up today. It wasn't stuck that bad. The sway chain has a tear shaped link at end where it fastens to snap coupler lift link. Mine are broke and I don't want to have to make them. Thanks, Tracy

Tracy, I had forgotten about that teardrop shaped link. Will have to do some research and see how I did that. I may have pictures on here somewhere. I'll get back to you on this. Edit; Found it. Apparently I cut a link and then welded them back together after attaching the teardrop link. Pictures in this thread; https://www.allischalmers.com/forum/model-73-depth-wheel_topic179064_post1517896.html?KW=#1517896Edited by IBWD MIke - 24 Sep 2022 at 9:51am |
