Recently bought an HD11B will be picking it up in about 2 weeks. They said the engine (685T) is locked up only paid $222 for it so I have some wiggle room in fixing it. I can get an engine rebuild kit for about $2500 less main bearing set & head gasket set. My question is should I keep with the stock engine or should I go ahead and repower it to a more common engine? I cant seem to find main bearings or head gasket set for this engine. Attached is a picture of the serial number.
