Well, Jo Jo's new grocery getter is gettin' a little closer to hitting the street. It came out of the barn under its own power last week. After her and I got the brakes bled, it was time to move it out! Still needs the windshield put in it yet, but its gettin' there. Its been a 8 year project... I tried to follow the science, but it was not there. I then followed the money, and that’s where I found the science.

I believe it's a 67. The 66 had more of a sloped fender above the headlights. Otherwise they're pretty much the same. Did it have the roof rack? That sure is pretty!! You sure spoil that girl.

Great job on that "grocery getter"!! I'm sure Jo Jo is goin' to love it. She'll be bringin' the groceries home just a few at a time just to get more drives in.! Let's have a look under the hood!

Ted is on the money. Its a 67' Nova Wagon. They didn't make a lot of Nova Wagons in 67' (last year for the Nova Wagon) Most of em' are in the boneyards rotted away. This has a 6 cylinder in it, but it's not an inline. I purchased the car without an engine and tranny in it. I installed a 4.3L Vortec V6 crate motor which I coupled to the original Powerglide tranny to keep the column shift stock so its easy for Jo to drive. Also, I wanted to keep the original interior stock. The only change I made was a new headliner. The rest of the interior is still all original and in super shape. I did re-dye a couple sections of the seats where they were faded.
Chris, I'll have to dig out a couple in construction pics for ya. We built the car down in my nephews shop in MD. Still need to put the windshield in yet, but we're gettin' there. Thanks for all the Kudos guys! Its appreciated!! Steve@B&B

Here's a pic of the "stock" V6. It helps her get to the store a little quicker if she's running behind in time.... LOL! I put a pair of DCOE Weber carbs on it. This was an earlier picture of the engine before I had the cooling system done.

Lou, Jo is short like me. She wouldn't be able to see over the blower. Knowing her need for speed, she wouldn't have a problem stickin' her big toe into it though.... LOL!
