Have the donor final drive on my engine stand . Ran a 3/8-16 tap in the bull gear oil pan holes . Always try to do that and also use new bolts . Crazy how much trash was in the threads . Who knows what's happened over 60 years , I guess . I plan to install the bull gear with new bearings and a seal first while I can rotate it upside down , then I'll do the pinion shaft . I'm hoping that's a good plan . Thanks !

About ready to order parts and have a question . Agco site lists a 70244961 pinion shaft outer bearing seal . My service manual doesn't show one and my pinion shaft didn't have one , only had the inner seal 70261958V . Anyone else run into this ? THANKS !

I ordered both pinion shaft seals . Rather have an extra than be short one . Plan to pack my bearings and with wheel bearing grease unless someone else has a better idea . Thanks
