My 1958 D14 industrial has the shuttle on the right-hand side. Does anyone know if I can move it to the left-hand side and if so how to do that? I have only ever seen them on the left-hand side.
Thanks!

Are you sure it is a Shuttle. I seen a regular Farm D-14 at an Auction about 10 years ago. I was interested until I seen it was a std. D-14 with a Power Director Lever on R/H side, and a regular D-14 front axle. Had an Ind. Front End Loader and Back Hoe. Spoke with the owner and he confirmed it was not a Shuttle. |

Thank you for your reply. Yes, I'm sure it is a shuttle, not a high-low lever/power director, and it operates as it should. It's definitely an Industrial D14 (SN# D14 17785) because there is no PTO or internal hydraulics, and it has the reinforced heavy-duty front end. See attached pictures.

The shuttle is on the right, it is the same handle that the rest of my AC's have for power directory on the right.

I might be wrong, but I think someone might have stuffed a shuttle into a regular PD housing. IIRR, all you have to do is to flip the shaft over to change lever locations. If I'm wrong, someone will be along to correct me...

Our D14 industrial has a shuttle like yours. Ours has a different front axle.

@DiyDave: Thank you, hopefully you are right! I definitely will look into it. If it makes a difference, there is also no reverse gear on the shifter, only 1st - 4th. The reason I would like to change the shuttle to the left side is because I would like to add a hay grapple to it, with the hydraulics on the right and the shuttle on the left.
