There are 5 posts on this page that are the diesel price or talk of both. So what stirred you up about the last one?
California gas has been holding for about a month. But when Newsome gets his victory next week in the recall, I will guess he will have a executive order in his pocket to put more carbon tax us deplorables. But of course all his free cheesers are paying too, and to dumb to know.

Seems I missed his reply before. But that's what happens when somebody posts random, useless posts every day and you get used to skipping over them.

Crude has been going up the last few days, some blame the falling dollar, some say it’s the political strife in the world, heck, who knows?

Mid-late last week, ALL of the local places "jumped" to $ 3.39 for regular "GASOLINE", yet my local Walmart/Murphy hung in a $2.97 . There is a BP next door and a 7/11(mobile now) that made the leap to the "upper end" for 3 days, but have since come back down to the $2.97 price . Gouging ???

Yesterday was given notice by the fellas that deliver fuel to the work yard tanks, buy and fill up any diesel bulk reservoirs you have as in a month or less the prices are gonna skyrocket. Gas is a programmed loss, reformulated gas will sour in less than 8 weeks, begins losing Octane in mere days after delivery as is a unstable compound, use it or lose it.

Gas here still hovering at around $2.90 +/-, diesel however is climbing steadily now at $3.44/9 at most highway locations. Bought last of Rotella 15w40 at local Farm/Home store in 2.5 gal jugs last week, next load into store raised by $3/gallon.

Global crude prices surged to multiyear highs on Monday after OPEC stood firm in keeping production at current levels.
NYMEX crude closed up 2.29% to $77.62 per barrel, the highest level since November 2014. Brent crude, the global benchmark, jumped 2.50% to $81.26 — the highest since October 2018. Gas prices continue to climb with the latest average hitting $3.20 per gallon, as tracked by AAA. Edited by steve(ill) - 04 Oct 2021 at 5:31pm |

Sadly, I paid $3.14 for regular this evening at a station flanked by 2 others, 1 was $3.19, the other (BP) was at $3.29 . While I was pumping regular , a diesel rig pulled in , If his "buggy" wasn't running so HOT with his chip (the eyes watered from the exhaust), he probably could have gotten a few more miles on his ride .
