Hello All,
New to the forum, and after owning a Gleaner L3 and a 185 for a bit I decided I better round out the AC collection by purchasing an 8030 FWA. Newbie question; what is the recommended oil for the 'Rear Drive'? I'm talking the bit at the back with the sight glasses on the left side of the PTO housing. She's a power shift if that makes any difference. Help is appreciated, Matt |

I use Cen-Pe-Co hyd oil. Not sure if that is sold in Canada. Other good quality oil, not the cheap stuff, will be good.

Thanks, I wasn't sure if that part of the transmission was filled with the same stuff as the front....but apparently it is.
After some digging I found 'Allis Chalmers Power Fluid 821' as the official lube required. |

Don't use the cheap 303 oil, it freezes up and way too thin
