68 here today and sporadic rain, 48 now and clearing, cooler air headed your way tonight EJ. Had a bit of frozen precipitation in NW Georgia about dark. Guess Shameless is trying to get his machine dialed in. Going to be cooler here the rest of the week. I would be happy to share some warm air with our friends up north.

Sunday morning we were at 21 degrees, dry, sunny no wind. Then the winds shift and we get the southern warm wet weather (57 degrees). In my shed, the now cold iron of the equipment got hit with that warm moist air, and wow did everything sweat. Water dripping off. Other than sealing, insulating and heating ($$), is there a way to stop that? Also there are many weather site on the net. They aren't that good at showing the past actual weather. Timeanddate.com is good. From the homepage select past weather. Also the Sun & Moon selection shows length of day. As usual the days stop getting shorter and then start getting longer around DEC 22. In the meantime you can listen to Merle Haggard's song "If We Make It Through December". |

A couple days ago a friend of mine near Anchorage, AK told me it was 51 degrees and they had a wind gust of 118 MPH before the gauge broke! 2 to 3 inches of rain the day before. Warmest day there from early November to March for 70 years. Of course there is no such thing as climate change.

GEEZE!!! if it was 42 here now, we'd be outside in shorts and Tee shirts playing football.
Our HIGHS aren't supposed to be more than the teens for a while. |
