Hey all, probably a dumb question here.
On my WD45, it seems the clutch slips rather than the wheels spinning when I have an implement really stuck in the ground. (E.g. loader, tumblebug scraper) Sometimes the wheels spin, but sometimes the clutch slips. I don't smell burning lining, so I suspect the oil bath hand clutch. Is my clutch going, or are there situations where the wheel traction can actually overpower a healthy clutch? What would be the best way to test the clutch(es)? Thanks in advance! |

Both clutch systems can have issues. The hand clutch can be adjusted by taking out shims. I have not done this but lots of information on here about that.
Regards, Chris
