Hey if the D10 is still available, I'll send $20 bucks and pick it up next year!

I'm sure it was a sweet tractor but it would only be a toy here and I have no tools for one so it would make more sense for me to pass and take the funds. My current tractors do what needs done and I don't have to buy implements for a little tractor to get use out of it. Then there's the lack of shed space....

On the drive home, I was having quite the self-debate of "take the cash" vs. "take the tractor".  Tractor is worth more than $4k but then the shed space and would I really use it much (since it was nicely restored) came into play.
Finally decided I'd take the tractor when they called.....which they obviously didn't.

Which option would you have chosen.....

I would have took the tractor and removed the hydraulic control valve and used it on my D-10. Then I would have put my less than perfect control valve on the raffle tractor and still probably got 4k for it.

I definitely would have taken the tractor. I am short a D10 and a D12 of having at least one of each of the D series. Tractor would have put. Me one closer to completing the collection that I set out to put together 25 years ago. Darrel

Darrel, you said you didn't make it to the show, did you send some money to buy raffle tickets?

So what becomes of the D10 now?  Next year's raffle?

BTW, I would have taken the tractor, can always add shed space!

I was wondering the same thing about the tractor. What happens to it?
Everything is impossible until someone does it! WD45-trip loader 1947 c w/woods belly mower, 1939 B, #3 sickle mower 1944 B, 2 1948 G's. Misc other equipment that my wife calls JUNK!

If I bought all but one of the tickets.....I would still come empty handed!
I am still confident of this;
I will see the goodness of the Lord in the land of the living.
