I have a 1952 CA that is leaking oil at the PTO. Seams to be coming from the seal. Is this easy to replace or is there more than what I see from the outside?
Thanks....

Review this post: CA Rebuild
Gerald has posted a link to the service manual for the G, B, C, and CA in his reply. Look at page 45 in the CA section and it gives you a breakdown of what is there, You just need to drain the oil, then remove the bolt on cover the seal is in to change the seal. You may need a speedi sleeve for the shaft if the seal has worn a groove in it. You may want to save a copy of the manual for your future use. |
