I'm in southwest Illinois. 3 years ago I paid $4250 for a 185D with a 500 loader. No welds on the loader. Works great. Tires are fair. Paint is fair to good except for a spot on the hood. Sheet metal in good condition. Unknown hours. I've been accused of stealing the tractor by some A-C friends. My guess is that your tractor should bring $6500 to $7500. Before I bought mine I watched a tractor in better shape with an almost new loader go at auction for $13,000. As always, it depends on the tractor's condition and who is interested in buying it.

Thank you all for the feedback. It’s interesting how location impacts the value.

In this area, 180's are not as expensive as they used to be. $3500.00 to $4000.00 tops including the loader. I watched a good 500 loader bring less than $500.00 2 or 3 years ago. It was in good shape, no breaks, but paint was faded.

In our area, a tractor like you are describing would probably bring between $2500 to $3500 at a farm auction (less at a consignment auction). A lot depends on the area.

What would a good running 180 diesel be worth? Doesn't pop out of gear, good high/low. Less than 5 hrs on a complete pump rebuild with new injectors (have receipts). Matched 16.9 x 28's on the rear at 80%. Allis 500 loader. Complete tin in decent shape, not perfect. I need to free up some shed space and am considering putting this up for sale. Thanks
