Hey guys I am needing some parts for my 1967 AC 190XT. The turbo is shot on it and will have to be replaced. The injection pump is pouring fuel from where the shut off rod goes into the pump body, so it will need rebuilt. It is also missing the side panels so I would like to find a set for it. If anyone could help me find out where to get these parts I would appreciate it.

I got side panels off EBay. They are on there all the time. I'd get ahold of injection pump Ed about your pump. And yes your turbo looks very shot.

Early 190s like this one have a weird 1 piece panel that extends to the front panel. Much harder to find these than the smaller pieces you see on e-bay. I would also recommend buying a brand new turbo if you do not want to replace it again in a few years. |

A zipper front end allows you to have a wide front end, or a single wheel , or a dual tire narrow front end. They are very desirable. Finding the narrow front end is the issue, extremely hard to find. Only one I have seen in person went for $10,000 at a auction in February. Just for the pedestal!!!! They call it the zipper because any of the 3 front ends will attach to it. I have one also, just need to find a narrow front and I will be one happy man.

The interchangeable (zipper) front end has two oil lines on top and a breather. These would be located under the radiator and air cleaner. Most 190/190XT's have wide front ends. Most of them have a hydraulic cylinder under the engine inside of the front axle frame. The zipper front end was always with a tricycle or single front wheel. To have a zipper front support with a wide front axle was an OPTION and cost more $$$$$$$.

I get what the zipper front end is, I just don't see how anyone could tell the OP tractor has it from the picture provided?

The front support is different between the two, good eye to catch it.

I believe the zipper front bolster is a two peice and the normal wide front bolster is a one piece. (like the diagram above shows) I was able to pick it out by the gap between the 2 pieces of the bolster. Its one of the first things I look for whenever I see a 190, 180, 170 tractor.

Allis Chalmers 37- I saw a set of the early side panels you need at a small local salvage yard. Next time I'm there I'll see how much they are. If you still need them.
