Yes, 3 different styles that I have seen. All made out of round pipe. Some have D21 cast into the upper hook. Andy

The one that I have seen on a 8550 was Cat. 3W and was all welded square iron/tubing construction. It shows it in the parts book. The one that I have is the three piece round pipe type and is Cat.3N. Mike

Here is one that came with my 7080.
![]() Never really looked at it too close but it does have a D21 cast in it? I think it is way newer than a D21 tractor. ![]() |

I looked in my Dad's 1981 price list for a quick hitch for the 7000 series tractors. I can't find it listed as an accessory for any of the two wheel drive tractors, although the "options" are limited in the tractor pages.
However, for the four-wheel drive 7580 it references an option of "heavy duty 3-point hitch, Category III with Quick Hitch" as an option for $3,786. Wow! The "heavy duty" part must have been something special (as opposed to just being a bare-back tractor). However, I've only got the price lists for the tractors. There was a "tab" in his 3-ring binder labeled "Tractor Accessories" but unfortunately all that information is gone.
