After rolling hay today with our 185, there began a popping/knocking sound somewhere in the back end. It only does this when the transmission is pulling and the tractor is moving. It has nothing to do with the PTO, it does it whether or not the PTO is running. I have no idea what it could be at this point.

It makes the sound ever 3-5 seconds and it's a deep, knock of a sound.

First time I've ever noticed this on any 185 or any other tractor for that matter.

Thanks in advance.

Sounds like the wheel may be loose to the rim.

Lynn,

I wish it was that; but I've heard that sound before.. It's definitely something inside..

Sounds expensive. Lol
