Looking to buy two new rear tires for the ol 17 it has 18.4x28 on it now but I'm planing to get the original size of 16.9x28 but I wouldn't mind to have a little taller tires also. What do you guys have on yours and what would size would you recommend. Thanks!

16.9 is only good if you plan to trailer it a lot.

My IV gas has 16.9 x 28s. My IV diesel came with bald 18.4, but I went with new 16.9 Firestone SAT 23 tires and i like how they look.

I have 14.9 x 38" on mine. They should all come this way from the factory.

These are 16.9x28 "Power Mark" tires on my D17serIV. Made by Kelly-Springfield at the time. Then later, Titan.
They look proportionally good and have high tread. But, I don't know if these can still be purchased as Titan quit marketing them. Edited by Gatz in NE - 12 Aug 2017 at 9:35am |

Standard size was 169x28. I put a lot if them on that size. My s4 diesel has 16.9's on it. If you are using snap coupler equipment I would suggest you stay with that size. Firestone's are best.
