The transmission shaft from clutch through torque tube to rear end has the gear on the shaft chewed off. This shaft is on longer available and 3 gears are also chewed off. I have found a torque tube with every thing in it. The problem is my 180 serial #  8582 and Allis made a change at serial # 11123 and the transmission I found is serial #11783. Will this transmission work on my tractor? It is a good tractor yet and I don't want to part it out. What are my options?

Use the whole complete torque tube and internals and you'll be back in business.

Thanks DrAllis. We've purchased a torque tube with all the works in it that didn't have very many hours on it. it had a gas engine in the 180 and it blew so probably wasn't worked too hard. I will let youall know when we get it running.
