Well due to Dan I got a good service manual which I needed and with all the helpful suggestions I tried simple first. Tom suggested I change the oil and make sure it was a non foaming hydraulic oil. So I got some NAPA tractor - transmission hydraulic oil and dropped the drain plug yesterday let it drain over night and put in the recommended amount today. Fired her up drove it around after it warmed up and let it sit and run for 15 minutes. The last time I let it sit running it had foam coming out the fill plug. But not this time. I looked in the fill hole as it ran and it was circulating with no film. Thanks to all. I don't know what I used when I changed it last but I think I may have used what my old manual recommended for non power steering D17's prior to serial #24,000. Thanks to All again, Jim
