New to the site and figured I would post a pic of my current Project ! My father purchased this from the ohio highway dept the day i was born Oct 8 , 1976 , sadly he passed away nov 29 after a long illness , he collected tractors and engines and always joked about how he should restore the grader instead of using it ,,, I purchased it at the auction and am working on restoring it now !

You can get reproduction manuals for these machines from some of the suppliers on this site. Used or after market manifolds should not be hard to get as the engine is a farm tractor engine. It must be one of the older models as the engine appears to be still using a magneto. If you know the grader's serial number it is easy to check the year. If your steering play is in the steering box the service manual describes how to adjust it. They are a great little grader.

You have a nice looking machine there. A neighbor has one, it's more of a red color, but back then I don't know if there was a standard color for Municiple machines. There is one at auction here in Mid MI next Sat. but my driveway isn't long enough tow warrant that much machine!!! LOL

Looks like that makes it a 1950 model. It should have the same engine as a WD45 tractor.
