probably going to part mine if you need anything...
Mine'd have to have the engine rebuild as the sleeves had pieces missing in the bottom.

If it ran it might be worth that, I can't see anyone paying anything close to what he is asking for it in that condition and not running. |

ANY 'non running' aka 'ran when parked' tractor ain't worth more than 500 Canucks to me. It's the 'little things' like condition of engine, rad, tranny, rear end, hydraulics, brakes, etc that CANNOT be tested until the engine runs. assuming it has been sitting for 2-3 years..guess how much water is IN the engine, tranny, etc. It could easily turn into a money pit or be a diamond in the rough but unless you can afford to blow a grand on rolling the dice.........

The tractor is a D10 Series I. From the battery located behind the seat and the early type seat, it would be a 1959-60 model, below serial number 2236. If you want the tractor for yourself at a $1000 offer, it would be an okay deal. Parts would bring around $2000. The big problem is that you will not know if it jumps out of gear.

Thanks everyone for the info and even the value estimates. I'm not familiar with this model. However, I do know that parts are not as readily available for them compared with the Bs and Cs.

I've been taking chances on tractors like that for about 40 years and the vast majority have worked out pretty good, plus I'd bet a cash offer for right much less would get it bought. D10 parts will sell for a decent price sooner or later as most people want to fix their's up not part it out.I'll take a tractor like that over a doctored up POS with a spray can paint job anytime. |

Looks like an early D10. I was looking at it last night on Craigslist. I would say around $500 as long as it has been sitting unless someone needed it for parts. I have enough projects right now so come on up and get it.

You'd have to go look at it and work it out. Like Larry says, I'd not offer more than that. I'd start out lower or if you really want it, take the $1000 with and go see it. Looks like ?? decent tires and metal. Hard to say from the pics. How bad do you want it Steve?
